“A little more persistence, a little more effort and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success” – Elbert Hubbard

“We must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

I don’t really know where I’m heading with this but I know for sure that we’ve all been there, you know, that point in your life where you just want to quit and go into hiding for decades. That point where hope is being replaced with darkness. That point where you wonder what sin you committed to offend God because He’s not answering your prayers.

That point you hope for miracles to happen and then stop hoping because Santa Claus has you on his naughty list. I have been there countless times and that’s a story to tell another day.

In high school I heard one of my seniors say “GOD’S DELAY IS NOT GOD’S DENIAL, IN TIME HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU “. I don’t know where she got that from and I never bothered to check. Trust me, she was one of my worst seniors but what she said that day gave me hope and I’ve held on to that saying for long and I respected her for that but I still didn’t like her 😂.

What I’m getting at is, no matter the situation you’re in, be it difficult or easy, never lose hope, faith and a positive attitude. Those three things could take you places you’ve never imagined. They could work miracles for you. YES! Miracles do happen. If you don’t believe it, START NOW!

Why am I saying all these? Because God did something unexpected for me. I mean, my light of hope burned out, I was in a state where my thought process was – I’m tired of trying, if bad things want to happen, let them happen. I mean, the more I try to make sure I’m one less problem ahead, it comes in double fold.

When God works wonders for you, you’d be wondering if this is an imagination, a dream or real life? Hope is life. Your path may not always be straight and you have to always keep that in mind. Things may not be the way you want it. No matter how in control of your life you think you are, permit me to say, Life is still a Bitch, it could mess you up and if you can’t handle the mess, it will burn you. What I’m saying is, you must always have a lot of hope and determination bundled up somewhere in you, try not to run out it. If you have that, you’re good to go.

“A miracle is when the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. A miracle is when one plus one equals a thousand.” – Frederick Buechner, The Alphabet of Grace
